Summary of Functions:

The Vendor Management Specialist takes full ownership of interactions with sellers, demonstrating proactive problem-solving and delivering exceptional support. Exhibit effective written and oral communication, providing timely assistance to sellers and escalating issues appropriately.

We are looking for a dedicated and customer-focused Ecommerce Vendor Management Executive to join our team. The role involves providing exceptional support to our sellers & suppliers, resolving their concerns, and ensuring a seamless selling experience on our platform. The ideal candidate is a problem solver, an effective communicator, and a team player who thrives in a dynamic and fast- paced environment.

Responsibilities & Requirements:

  • End-to-End Seller Support: Take ownership of seller interactions from start to finish, addressing their queries, concerns, and requests promptly and professionally.
  • Proactive Problem Solving: Anticipate potential issues and provide proactive solutions to sellers to enhance their experience and drive seller satisfaction.
  • Clear Communication: Deliver effective, clear, and professional written and oral communication to sellers, ensuring they understand the solutions and guidance provided.
  • Prompt Service: Provide prompt and efficient assistance to sellers and suppliers, ensuring their issues are resolved in a timely manner. Escalate complex issues as necessary to ensure swift resolution.
  • Maintain Positive Demeanour: Portray a positive and professional image of the company at all times while handling challenging or sensitive situations. Manage sensitive issues with empathy and professionalism.
  • Time Management: Exhibit excellent time-management skills and work independently, utilizing departmental resources, policies, and procedures to efficiently handle seller inquiries.
  • Team Collaboration: Foster a positive team environment by actively assisting team members with complex seller interactions when required, contributing to a collaborative and supportive atmosphere.
  • Performance Metrics: Maintain acceptable performance metrics such as quality of interactions, productivity, first contact resolution, and attendance, ensuring consistent and high-quality support.
  • Data Interpretation and Analysis: Actively seek solutions through logical reasoning and data interpretation skills. Identify trends and provide insights for improvements, channelling suggestions to appropriate departments.
  • Cross-Departmental Liaison: Collaborate with other departments such as Customer Service, Merchant Investigations, and Payments teams to resolve complex seller issues and questions, ensuring a coordinated approach.

Experience, Knowledge Skills:

  • Bachelor & degree with 2 - 4 years of experience in e-commerce industry
  • Knowledge of e-commerce best practices, strategies, and tactics
  • Proven experience in customer service, seller support, or related roles, preferably within an e-commerce environment.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to convey complex information clearly and concisely.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to finding solutions.
  • Ability to manage time effectively and work independently while adhering to established protocols.
  • Proficiency in using customer support tools and systems.
  • Strong analytical skills to interpret data and identify trends.
  • Ability to collaborate and communicate effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Positive attitude, adaptability, and a willingness to learn and improve.
